This Caprese Candy Cane is a fun and easy appetizer to make for Christmas!

If you're looking for a light and healthy appetizer to serve at Christmas, then look no further! This candy cane caprese board is so delicious and your guests will love it!
Ingredients you will need
Fresh Tomatoes - 3-4 medium tomatoes
Fresh Mozzarella - 16 ounce log of cheese (pre-sliced)
Fresh Basil Leaves - small bunch
Balsamic Glaze - 3 Tablespoons
How to make
Making a caprese candy cane is so easy! First you will cut the tomatoes into ¼ inch thick slices.
Next, arrange the tomato and mozzarella slices on a board into the shape of a candy cane.
Scatter fresh basil leaves on the board as well as a small bowl of balsamic glaze for drizzling.

Helpful Hints
Any type of rectangular board will do. Wooden cutting boards work nicely. You could even wrap a plastic cutting board or baking sheet with aluminum foil or parchment paper.
You should be able to find a mozzarella cheese log that is already pre-sliced. Otherwise cut into ¼ inch thick slices.
Balsamic Glaze can be found near the balsamic vinegar at your supermarket.
Serve with small plates, a fork for the tomatoes and mozzarella, and a a small spoon for the balsamic glaze.
