These healthy Banana Oatmeal Breakfast Bites are made with wholesome ingredients and are ready in just 15 minutes!

Let it be known, I am NOT a morning person which can make consuming a healthy breakfast challenging. That is why I LOVE these breakfast bites! They can be made the night before and are a perfect grab-and-go meal in the morning.
Like my Banana Nut Smoothie, this is also a great way to use up any ripe bananas! This recipe contains no flour or refined sugar, is vegetarian and gluten-free. It literally tastes like you are having cookies for breakfast! You might just want to double the recipe. 😉
How to Make these Breakfast Bites
In a large mixing bowl, mash the bananas. Add the oats, walnuts, flaxseed, hemp hearts and/or chia seeds, oat milk, maple syrup, cinnamon, and chocolate chips. Combine to form a moist mixture.

Next, drop heaping tablespoons of the mixture onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Pat them down by hand and form into circular cookie shapes. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes. Let them cool slightly before eating.

This recipe is versatile and the ingredients can be adjusted to your liking!
Here are some of my other favorite substitutions:
- dates
- raisins
- dried cranberries
- chopped pecans
- shredded coconut
- pumpkin pie spice

I couldn’t agree more! Enjoy!! 🙂
How do I modify the recipe if I don’t have quick cooking oats?
Which type of oats do you have?
I have read that you can use a food processor to grind them down a bit.
You definitely could, but the regular oats are just fine.
I made these. My daughter loved them!
Yeay! They really are so easy and delicious.
