This Mediterranean Salad Dressing is fresh, delicious, so easy to make, and much healthier than store-bought dressing.
Did you know that the Mediterranean diet has been ranked #1 as the best overall diet? It has, and for good reason! Studies have consistently shown a correlation with a decreased risk of chronic disease in those who consume a Mediterranean diet.
How to make Mediterranean Salad Dressing
The process is so simple! Just mix together all of the following ingredients:
- ½ cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 3 Tablespoons Red Wine Vinegar
- 1 lemon juiced (about 3 Tablespoons)
- 1 Tablespoon Dijon Mustard
- 1 teaspoon Dried Basil
- 1 teaspoon Dried Oregano
- 1 teaspoon Dried Thyme Leaves
- ¾ teaspoon Garlic Powder
- ½ teaspoon Salt
- Black Pepper to taste
You can mix the ingredients in a bowl with a whisk, however I like to add them to a small glass jar with a lid (a mason jar works) and give it a good shake.
Yes! Store in an airtight container for up to 5 days. Just give it a good shake or stir prior to using.
Yes! I would increase the quantity to 1 Tablespoon for maximum flavor.
Absolutely! You could substitute 1 teaspoon of finely minced garlic.
This dressing is fantastic on any type of salad. Today I used it as a topper for my Mediterranean Chicken Salad - so scrumptious! You could also use this Mediterranean Salad Dressing as a marinade for meats and fish too.

Made your dressing, tasted it and I added 2tsp. of Bosha Sweet and a half dropped of stevia. Excellent! I could eat it without my sweetener but I knew my sister wouldn't like it! Also, used garlic granules but I wanted more garlic so I put in 3 garlic cloves!
Hope you loved it! 🙂
Just made this dressing as a marinade for lamb and a Greek salad. Light and delicious!
Glad you liked it, Kate!
