Set your air fryer to cook at 375 degrees for 6 minutes. While the air fryer is preheating, prepare your kale.
First, cut off any large stems, and then tear the kale leaves into 2-3 inch pieces
Wash the kale leaves, and dry them thoroughly with a paper towel or clean cloth.
Add the kale, olive oil, and salt to a large mixing bowl and massage with your hands to evenly coat all of the leaves.
Once the air fryer is ready, place your chips in the basket and insert into the fryer. (Be sure not to fill above the fill line.) Toss them halfway through.
The chips will take 4-6 minutes to cook and are done when crispy.
Remove the basket from the air fryer and carefully remove the chips.
Notes
Be sure to dry the kale leaves thoroughly after washing. Wet leaves = soggy chips.
You may substitute any of your favorite seasonings! I sometimes use onion powder, garlic powder, nutritional yeast, and a pinch of cayenne pepper.
