Equipment

  • Grill

Ingredients

  • 1 Pineapple fresh
  • 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 2 Tablespoons Balsamic Vinegar
  • ¼ teaspoon Cinnamon
  • pinch Cayenne Pepper optional

Instructions

  • Fire up that grill! Set on medium heat, around 350-400 degrees.
  • Peel and cut your pineapple into ½ inch slices.
  • Whisk olive oil, balsamic vinegar, cinnamon, and cayenne powder together in a small bowl.
  • With a basting brush, coat both sides of the pineapple slices. (I like to place the pineapple into a 9x13 baking dish and pour any of the remaining oil and vinegar mixture right on top of the fruit.) Let sit for 10 minutes.
  • Place pineapple on the grill and cook for 3-5 minutes on each side or until grill marks appear.

Notes

  • You could also cut your pineapple into one inch chunks and cook them on a skewer if you prefer.
  • Enjoy!
